Curtain call
I used to beg my mom to run lines with me every night. Now I open LineRunner before bed and work through my scenes on my own. I walk into rehearsal already knowing my cues.

Stage notes
Yes. Your script crosses the network only once — at upload, for dialogue extraction — and the source PDF is not retained after parsing. The parsed result lives in a local database on your device. If you have Android Auto Backup enabled (the default), that database is also included in your own encrypted Google Drive backup, so a phone swap doesn't lose your Repertoire. Synthesized audio (TTS) is excluded from backup and stays on your device. No human reads your script, and LineRunner never sells or shares script content. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Android today, via the Google Play Store. iOS is on the roadmap for late 2026.
The Script Library is free — pick a play and start rehearsing. Uploading your own script is $2.99 per script, charged through the Google Play Store. No subscription.
Eighteen public-domain plays at launch — a mix of Shakespeare comedies, drawing-room classics like Wilde and Chekhov, family-friendly stage adaptations (Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, A Christmas Carol), and audition-ready one-acts.
Every Library script is reviewed against profanity, slurs, and heavy sexual or violent content. Thematic content (mortality, mild peril) is allowed.
Any PDF. LineRunner handles virtually any PDF-formatted script regardless of format. Just be sure PDF content is legible and pages ordered properly. Image files won't parse — run them through a PDF scanner first.
Yes. Go back to the cast screen at any time and reassign. Your progress and any revealed lines are preserved.
